Mogensen Mitigation, Inc., is a private stream and wetland environmental consulting company and General Contractor with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina.
40+ years of experience
MMI was established in 2011 by Richard Mogensen to provide stream and wetland consulting as well as threatened and endangered species consulting services and mitigation banking and General Contracting to private and public entities.
In 2013 MMI acquired Robert J. Goldstein & Associates, Inc. based in Raleigh and Gerald Pottern joined MMI as Senior Ecologist.

Qualifications & Expertise
Rich has nearly 40 years of professional experience in environmental consulting specializing in stream and wetland delineations, permitting, restoration and compensatory mitigation banking. Rich established Mogensen Mitigation, Inc. in 2011 after a long career in Clean Water Act consulting, mitigation banking, NEPA Reports and Endangered Species Act consulting. MMI also holds a North Carolina General Contractors License for grading. Rich manages MMI out of the Charlotte, NC office and is past-president of the National Mitigation Banking Association (now ERBA) and past-president of the North Carolina Ecological Restoration Association (NCERA). He also is a member of the NAEP and NCAEP as well as the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER).
